The Lau Gar Kung Fu style

The Lau Gar Kung Fu style is defined as ‘short’ and ‘external’. This means it is ideal for close quarter situations and deals with strikes from both hand and feet. The style also incorporates locks (Chin Na) and is famous for its Weapons like Sword, Spear and Tiger Fork.

Lau Gar was first established in the UK well over 40 years ago and has become one of the most well known and successful styles in the UK.

Even though Lau Gar has become famous for producing some excellent tournament fighters, most people enjoy this style of Kung Fu in a non competitive way through practicing the Forms and applications.

Lau Gar is a traditional sophisticated and fascinating martial art that you can continue to learn for a lifetime.
